Cat mom saves week-old baby black kitten from frostbite in -8 degree weather after student flags her down in the middle of her work commute
It's our dream to be able to call out of work because we found a kitten on our way, and have to rush home to save them. That's the best excuse we could ever think of for missing work. Although it sounds exciting and adorable, after reading this story, we can only imagine how stressful it must have been as well.

Stunned person saves helpless kitten from a 12-year-old boy who was throwing her into the trash, takes her and brings her home, where her kindness is instantly rewarded
The way that kids treat cats is one of the best indicators of whether they are good humans or not. And it really can go either way. Not all kids are bad, and not all kids are good. We have seen kids rescuing kittens that have been abandoned, we have seen kids trying to harm kittens, and we have seen kids saving kittens from those other kids who were harming them. We would like to say that we are not surprised when either happens, but somehow, we are surprised by both. We both don't expect the cruelty that some kids have in their hearts to be able to harm innocent creatures like these, but we also don't expect the maturity that they would have to show to rescue kittens in need of help.

Woman adopts shelter cat, discovers she's ill, then pays $15,000 to save her life
When you're a cat owner, you always have to have some money put aside for those unexpected expenses. You know, like the ones where your cat refuses to eat for a few days, so you go to the vet and they tell you that he's just mad at you for changing your shampoo, or when your cat randomly decides to eat every piece of plastic in sight. It's just a part of having a cat - they're naturally curious and can hold a grudge for quite some time. Both of which can force you to go to the vet, and both of which will cost you a lot of money.

Stray cat jumps into woman's car, eats her Dairy Queen, demands to be taken home and gets adopted
When we say that cats are the ones who adopt humans and not the other way around, we mean that. One thing that we have learned over our time writing content like this, is that cats can adopt you anywhere and at any time. You could go be adopted by a cat during a midnight picnic, having the cat simply sit with you and then follow you home. You could be handed a kitten at a Starbucks drivethrough and have to leave for home early because there's an itty bitty kitty in your pocket. You could have a cat fly through the window and directly into your lap, and just like that, out of nowhere, you will have to go out and get a bunch of cat supplies.

Person snaps photo of cat with unusual and gorgeous coloring at their local shelter, the internet meme-s the feline and makes him go viral, leading to him finding the forever home he's been waiting for
One of the best things about the internet is when people get together to help cats get adopted. It's something that happens more often than you expect. The internet has a special kind of love for cats, a love that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. There is a reason we say that cats rule the interet, and that is because it is simply true. Usually, it does not require a campaign. People on the internet don't need to band together to get a cat adopted. They simply need to make the cat go viral. And if the cat just so happens to not have a home yet, it will find a home soon enough.

Wife makes a deal with husband to adopt the cat that appeared on the family's farm just before they moved, if she's still available after a month
When the Cat Distribution System sends a cat your way, it means you're owed congratulations - you will be a pawrent to a purrecious little fluffball. It doesn't ask if this is a good time, the CDS doesn't knock on doors asking if you have a meowment to hear about their list of cats in need of a home. It sends the cat your way and - congrats! You're a pawrent. Some cats even force their way into your home until you adopt them. It's not a question of whether you're ready to adopt a cat, it's a question of your level of pre-readiness. You might be in the middle of something, like moving to a new place… Which is exactly what happened to this one family who were about to move away and were chosen by a sweet stray cat on their property.
